Systems Manager
Salary: 55-65+car +bonus
Location: Burton-on-Trent,
Derby, Tamworth
Our client seeks to appoint
a Business Systems Manager, reporting to the IT Director and
an Executive Steering Group. To develop and implement an IT
estate to support the rapid expansion of the business, and maximise
business effectiveness.
The Business Systems Manager will also programme manage an IT
portfolio of circa 200 projects per year amounting to a potential
spend of £9m per annum, implement structured methods and processes
to support the delivery of projects
The role will encompass the management of a team of business
analysts responsible for interpreting company and IT strategies
to produce commercially sound, robust and often innovative business
solutions.
The Business Systems Manager will also establish a forum of
Senior Managers within the business, with Exec sponsorship,
to assist in the prioritisation of potential projects and raise
cross-functional awareness of IT related projects.
The Business Systems Manager will also assist in the development
of a Systems strategy to address issues such as Knowledge Management,
Learning & Development, Customer Service, Telephony and overall
Business Effectiveness.
The role will also require managing and developing relationships
with third party suppliers. A consultancy or retail background
would be highly advantageous.
