Project Leader
Sales & Customer Services, Commercial & Admin

Salary: £35 to 45k

Location: Leicestershire

Our client seeks a Project Leader within their Sales & Customer Services, Commercial & Admin team reporting directly to the Applications Delivery Manager. The position will be responsible for leading the analysis, design and development effort for the Customer Service Front Line system as it is rolled out globally, including new project phases for all the major business units.

Roles & Responsibilities of the Project Leader
Sales & Customer Services, Commercial & Admin

- To co-ordinate and deliver the production of a number of new or modified computer applications,
- Identify and deliver the business objectives, project scope & potential opportunities,
- Explore technology options available to the business,
- Assess impact on other systems, users and departments,
- Ensure delivered systems are ‘right first time’ with minimal need for correction or rework,
- To produce and control project plans, weekly reports and other agreed project deliverables,
- To manage and control the implementation of new or modified systems,
- To provide functional management to analysts, programmers and other members within the project team,
- Contribute to the development of a strategy for the specific areas of the projects being worked on, and
- To advise the Development Manager on priority of new developments/service - requests and on the validity (cost/benefit) of requested changes.
